Capabilities

Four practices.
One architectural method.

The Blueprint is the gatekeeper. The other three practices — Metasystems, Quantitative Investment Infrastructure, and Managed Governance — are downstream of the audit. Every deliverable is something you own; every engagement compounds the next.

Practices

What we build.

Each practice ships a deliverable you can point at — entropy-point maps, Digital Twins, event-driven pipelines, signal substrates, governance reviews. Not slides.

01 · The Gatekeeper

The Discovery & Architecture Blueprint

Before we write code, we build the blueprint.

A theoretical-first audit. We map the entropy points where your data dies and your team burns hours moving information by hand, then deliver a Digital Twin — a model of your firm at full operational autonomy — and the phased path to get there. The Blueprint is the gatekeeper: no implementation engagement at LionsHead begins without one. The deliverable is yours regardless of whether you continue with us.

Best fit

Operators preparing to commit real capital to systems work and unwilling to do it on intuition. The audit is mandatory; the engagement that follows is optional.

What you get

  • Stakeholder interviews across leadership, operations, and engineering
  • Entropy point map — where data dies, where labor compounds, where decisions wait
  • Digital Twin — theoretical model of your firm at full operational autonomy
  • Phased implementation roadmap with risk-weighted scoping
  • Findings session with leadership team
  • Executable architecture brief you can take to any architect

02 · The Heart

Autonomous Operational Metasystems

I build the nervous system of your firm.

Your CRM, finance system, ops tools, and AI agents each carry a partial truth. The metasystem is the invisible layer above them that synchronizes the firm — event-driven pipelines, a canonical entity model, and the workflow contracts that let one fact propagate cleanly across every system that needs it. Your team stops moving data manually; the system handles propagation, leaving leadership to focus only on high-level strategy.

Best fit

Mid-market firms whose internal stack has accreted faster than it has been architected — paying the tax in reconciliation, latency, and lost executive context. The most common engagement after the Blueprint.

What you get

  • Cross-system topology and canonical entity model for the firm
  • Event-driven pipelines connecting siloed tools (CRM, financials, ops, agents)
  • Audit, lineage, and provenance on every datapoint
  • Observability and alerting on the full data fabric
  • Documentation, runbooks, and capability transfer to your internal team

03 · The Wealth Layer

Quantitative Investment Infrastructure

I engineer the infrastructure for Alpha.

Built for the Securities side of the practice. We stand up the automated substrate that mines unstructured market signal — news, sentiment, financials, alternative data — and converts it into institutional-grade datasets feeding predictive models or executive decisioning. The deliverable is infrastructure your team trusts at 6 AM on an open.

Best fit

Funds, family offices, capital allocators, and financial-news operators running models that have outgrown spreadsheets but haven't yet hardened into production systems.

What you get

  • Real-time market and alternative data ingestion + normalization layer
  • Algorithmic sentiment pipelines (NLP on unstructured sources)
  • Backtesting harness with reproducible signal evaluations
  • Portfolio + position dashboards calibrated to your decision cadence
  • Audit trail and data lineage on every datapoint

04 · The Retainer

Managed Systems Governance

I am the Guardian of the System.

Your business evolves; your metasystem has to evolve with it — or it becomes the next bottleneck. Under a retainer, I act as the Principal Architect of your operational infrastructure: maintaining integrity of the data substrate, managing scope-creep risk, optimizing the metasystem as you grow, and ensuring you never hit a friction wall. You don't pay me to fix bugs. You pay me to keep the engine compounding.

Best fit

Firms that have already deployed a metasystem (with us or another architect) and want it kept at peak as the business scales. Our most stable client relationships live here.

What you get

  • Quarterly architectural review with leadership
  • On-call advisory for net-new builds and integrations
  • Eval harness and observability dashboard ownership
  • Risk monitoring on the data fabric — drift, decay, integrity, compliance
  • Capability transfer and training cadence for your internal team

Engagement Structure

How a relationship moves.

The Blueprint is the gatekeeper. The Build is implementation. The Retainer is governance. Every engagement at LionsHead lives in one of three stages — and most graduate through all three.

The Blueprint

1–3 weeks

Fixed-scope diagnostic. Maps your firm, models the Digital Twin, and produces the executable architecture brief. Mandatory entry point for any implementation engagement.

Outcomes

  • Entropy point map of your operations
  • Digital Twin of your firm at autonomy
  • Phased implementation roadmap and architecture brief

The Build

8–20 weeks

Implementation phase. We architect, ship, and instrument the metasystem or quantitative infrastructure scoped in the Blueprint. Each component lands behind an evaluation harness from day one.

Outcomes

  • Production-grade systems delivered to your stack
  • Eval harnesses, observability, and audit baked in
  • Documentation and handover to your engineering team

The Retainer

Quarterly

Ongoing governance. Continuous tuning, advisory, and architectural integrity as the business evolves. The metasystem gets sharper every quarter; your team learns to operate it without us.

Outcomes

  • Quarterly architectural review and tuning cadence
  • On-call advisory for net-new builds
  • Capability transfer to your internal team

Principles

How we think about the work.

01

Theoretical-first

We map the logic layers of a problem before a single line of code is written. The Blueprint exists because design errors are 100x more expensive than implementation errors — and most firms find out the hard way.

02

Architected, not bolted on

Every engagement starts with a topology, not a tool list. We refuse to ship integrations the receiving system can't account for. Anything bolted on is just future entropy.

03

Instrumented from day one

If a system can't be measured, it can't be improved. Every pipeline ships behind an eval harness and observability layer. Drift is detected before it costs you.

04

Yours to operate

We build infrastructure your team owns. Documentation, runbooks, and capability transfer are deliverables, not afterthoughts. The relationship doesn't depend on us being a single point of failure.

Engage

Begin with the Blueprint.

A 30-minute working session to qualify the Blueprint. The Architect reads every inquiry personally; you leave the call with a clear next step, with us or without us.
